Experienced, friendly, knowledgeable, good value

Welcome to the Basingstoke Dog Training Club

Basingstoke Dog Training Club provides companion dog training classes. Our aim is to ensure that you have the tools and techniques so that your dog is a joy to be with both in and out of the home.

What do we do?

We run a variety of courses to suit most needs. Our courses cover all aspects of basic training for your dog from puppy-hood onwards. The classes provide a structured, friendly environment for you and your dog to learn and progress. We use up to date techniques and reward based methodologies that have been proven to be the most effective way to build a bond and get the best response from your dog.

When and where?

Our courses take place at Brighton Hill Community College, Brighton Way, Basingstoke RG22 4HS on Monday evenings from 6.30pm until 9pm. Find out more class times here.

How much?

We are non-profit making and run by a group of dedicated volunteers so our courses provide good value for money. Our affordable courses come in blocks of seven classes. Find out more here.

Covid - 19

14-07-2020 : The Club will remain closed until we are advised by the government that it is safe to return. As the Club is held in a secondary school, we are unable to start classes until they reopen community activities.

Beware

06-10-2020 It has come to our attention that there is a local issue within Basingstoke, whereby unknown persons have been attempting to take dogs from gardens and taking dogs off their leads when walking around local parks. Please be vigilant. Any information in relation to this can be reported by calling 101 or via Hampshire Police

Thank-you

The Club would like to thank everyone who took part in, or made a donation to, the Christmas raffle that was held on 9 December 2019. We are delighted to announce that the total amount raised on the night was £369 and the Club will make this up to £500. The money will be split equally between two charities, namely the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Miller’s Ark Farm, (the UK’s only complete farm animal therapy centre based in Hampshire). Sincere thanks to all Club members who supported this initiative.
